HAWTHORN KINGS SOAR TO TWO WINS AS THEY DEFEATED THE PIRATES & CHAMPS WUT!

By October 28, 2026No Comments

The Hawthorn Kings are making their presence felt, putting together two impressive victories behind standout performances and a team-first mentality. At the heart of their success are Ryan Batte and Malik McKinney, whose leadership has helped drive the Kings forward. With scoring firepower and contributions across the lineup, Hawthorn is showing the kind of form that makes them a dangerous opponent.

Ryan Batte delivered a statement performance, leading the scoring with 19 points while adding seven rebounds and three assists. His ability to produce on the offensive end while contributing on the glass gave the Kings a major boost. Batte also knocked down two three-pointers and recorded a steal, showcasing his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. When Hawthorn needed a spark, Batte provided the scoring punch to keep the pressure on.

The Kings also received valuable support from Malik McKinney, who finished with 14 points, five assists and four steals. Tyson McKenzie chipped in 12 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Noah Haines added eight points and two blocks. That balanced production proved crucial, with Hawthorn finding contributions beyond its leading scorer. The combination of offensive execution, defensive activity and playmaking gave the Kings a strong foundation to build on.

Jesse Warner’s leadership was another key storyline behind Hawthorn’s two-win run, helping set the tone for a team determined to get results. Alongside Batte’s scoring production, the Kings’ collective effort has been central to their success. While the available scoresheet highlights Batte’s individual numbers, it reinforces the importance of a roster capable of stepping up in different ways when the game is on the line.

With two wins secured, the Hawthorn Kings have plenty of reasons to be confident as they look ahead. Batte’s scoring, McKinney’s defensive pressure and McKenzie’s all-around contribution underline the team’s potential. The message is clear: Hawthorn is building momentum, and the Kings are ready to keep pushing forward.
