Ninch Hoops have announced their arrival in the MBL in emphatic fashion, emerging as the East Division’s top team in their debut! Leading the charge was Blake Jackson, who delivered a monster performance in the paint, finishing with 14 points and a game-high 18 rebounds to anchor Ninch Hoops’ 72-point offensive effort against the Ringwood Razorbacks. Jackson’s presence on the glass proved a major talking point, as he controlled the boards and gave his side a powerful interior presence. For a team making its first appearance in the league, Ninch Hoops wasted no time showing they belong among the East Division’s teams to watch.
Jackson was far from the only contributor in a balanced Ninch Hoops performance. Maddox Parsons poured in 16 points and collected 10 rebounds for a double-double, while Ned Weideman added 17 points, four rebounds and three assists to lead the scoring. Jesse Lans chipped in nine points, four assists and three steals, while Brayden Laurie knocked down two three-pointers on his way to eight points. Collectively, Ninch Hoops recorded 45 rebounds, 19 assists and 10 steals, showcasing the kind of teamwork and defensive activity that can make a serious difference over the course of a season. Their production across the lineup highlighted a group with multiple scoring threats and the ability to impact the game in different ways.
The Ringwood Razorbacks had their own standout performances, with Rough Bailey and David Amum leading the way with 15 points apiece. Shyan Punyadasa added nine points and 13 rebounds, while Amum contributed seven boards and an impressive four steals. Ringwood finished with 54 points, 33 rebounds and nine assists, but Ninch Hoops’ greater offensive output and dominance on the glass headlined the matchup. With Blake Jackson setting the tone inside and contributions coming from across the roster, Ninch Hoops have made an early statement in their MBL debut. The East Division has a new team demanding attention — and Ninch Hoops are ready to make their presence felt!
